Malcolm Carnegie vs Shane Cassidy

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Pearse Stadium, Galway,  taking place on 11/06/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the WRBA Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Malcolm The Storm Carnegie (34(19) - 3) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Shotgun Shane Cassidy(56(52) - 7(6)) from Liverpool, UK.  Both Carnegie and Cassidy weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Niall Monday, and the three ringside judges are Niall Monday, Jordan Byrnes and Eoghan Quinlan.  

Round 1: 

Carnegie advances into close range.  Cassidy is on target with a right hook to Carnegie's body.
