Pylyp Davidovich vs Afanas Borys

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Belarus-East promoted show at Vitebsk Dembinski, Vitebsk,  taking place on 15/06/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belarus-East Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pylyp Davidovich (16 - 12(1) - 6) who hails from Vitebsk, Belarus and Afanas Borys(11 - 11(3)) from Vitebsk, Belarus.  Davidovich weighed in at 118 pounds and 12 ounces, while Borys weighed in at 118 pounds.    As Davidovich came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Vasyl Taras, and the three ringside judges are Kolzak Witko, Luka Kostiuk and Kyrylo Turchin.  

Round 1: 

Davidovich connects with an overhand right.  Davidovich attempts to land an overhand right, but Borys slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Borys sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Davidovich is looking to keep his distance and throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Borys advances into close range.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Borys has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.

Borys steps to the outside.  Davidovich attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Borys time to recover.
