Hugh Balo vs Kendis Wangala

Boxing Daily Report from the Sangweni Promotions promoted show at Lusaka Muwanda, Lusaka,  taking place on 16/06/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zambia-Lusaka Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Balo (2 - 13 - 3) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Kendis Wangala(5 - 7 - 2) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Balo weighed in at 154 pounds, while Wangala weighed in at 153 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kwamin Sichinga, and the three ringside judges are Kwamin Sichinga, William Fungamwango and Okal Siasuntwe.  

Round 1: 

Wangala advances into close range.  As Balo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Wangala dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Balo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left.  
Wangala hits home with a cross.  
Wangala lands a left uppercut.  
Wangala closes the distance and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

As Wangala tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Balo has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Balo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Wangala tries to land a cross, but Balo sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Wangala forces Balo to retreat onto the ropes.  Wangala lands a right hook.
