Paul Mollison vs Michael Gough

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Saskatchewan promoted show at Brad Gaw Gym, Saskatoon,  taking place on 17/06/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Saskatchewan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Mollison (7 - 8(1)) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and Michael Gough(3 - 3) from Regina, Canada.  Both Mollison and Gough weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matt Hobbie, and the three ringside judges are Sam Cullen, Johnny Neilson and Max Neathery.  

Round 1: 

Gough gets on the inside.  Gough sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mollison is on target with a left hook.  
Gough gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Gough is on target with a right uppercut.  
Mollison quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Gough tries to land a left hook, but Mollison sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Gough hits home with a left hook.  
Mollison switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Mollison throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Gough time to recover.  
Mollison feints a jab, tricking Gough into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Mollison springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut.  
Mollison sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mollison tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Gough attempts to land a left hook, but Mollison blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Mollison.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
