Mark Walker vs Peter Oughton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Saskatchewan promoted show at Brad Gaw Gym, Saskatoon,  taking place on 17/06/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Saskatchewan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Walker (2 - 3) who hails from Regina, Canada and Peter Oughton(6 - 4 - 2) from Saskatoon, Canada.  Walker weighed in at 135 pounds, while Oughton weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Max Neathery, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Neilson, Matt Hobbie and Sam Cullen.  

Round 1: 

Oughton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Walker lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Walker is on target with a solid left uppercut to Oughton's body.  
Walker is looking to close the distance.  Oughton throws a right uppercut, but Walker ties up his opponent.  Walker is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Oughton leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Walker accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Oughton.
