Alastair Hughes vs Des Ferris

Boxing Daily Report from the L2LBoxingPromotions promoted show at Cardiff Egerton, Cardiff,  taking place on 18/06/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alastair Hughes (11 - 8(1) - 1) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Des Ferris(12 - 1(1)) from Cardiff, UK.  Both Hughes and Ferris weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Edwyn Brodie, and the three ringside judges are Dale Carrick, Joshua Gillespie and Inigo Rury.  

Round 1: 

Ferris advances into close range.  Ferris pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.
