James Cruden vs Clint Akins

Boxing Daily Report from the Namugerwa Promotions promoted show at Calgary Schade, Calgary,  taking place on 19/06/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Cruden (19 - 30(3) - 1) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Clint Akins(25 - 10(3)) from Edmonton, Canada.  Both Cruden and Akins weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zachary Sinton, and the three ringside judges are Charlie Ainsley, Zachary Shillinglaw and Clint Craig.  

Round 1: 

Akins is looking to close the distance.  Akins digs in a left hook to Cruden's body.  Cruden wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Akins dabs at his face checking for damage.
