Farhan Faraj vs Zach Bedoya

Boxing Daily Report from the Makweembo Promotions promoted show at Dasmarinas Lobo, Dasmarinas,  taking place on 19/07/2039:

Clearly Makweembo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Farhan Faraj (17(14) - 0) who hails from Omaha, USA and Zach Bedoya(2 - 1 - 2) from Malolos, Philippines.  Faraj weighed in at 175 pounds, while Bedoya weighed in at 174 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jose Utak, and the three ringside judges are Gervasio Maggay, Rico Riquelme and Joey Dato.  

Round 1: 

Faraj gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Faraj advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bedoya steps away from his opponent.  Faraj feints a left, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Faraj lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Faraj gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Faraj is on target with a right hook to Bedoya's ribcage.  
Faraj manouvers Bedoya into the blue corner.  Faraj lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Faraj is on target with a left uppercut to Bedoya's ribs.  
Faraj lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Faraj lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Faraj is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook.  
Faraj lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Faraj sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Faraj lands a sharp cross.  Faraj throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Faraj senses Bedoya is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Faraj lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right hook and a cross to his opponents head.  It looks like Bedoya has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Faraj throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Faraj is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Faraj steps inside.  Faraj sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Faraj lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Faraj steps inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Faraj connects with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bedoya's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Bedoya's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Bedoya's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Faraj sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.

Faraj lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES BEDOYA!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Bedoya cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Faraj!
