Tung Pon vs Genjo Zhong

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Heilongjiang promoted show at Liang Kwock Gym, Harbin,  taking place on 20/07/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Heilongjiang Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tung Pon (11 - 17 - 1) who hails from Harbin, China and Genjo Zhong(4 - 1 - 1) from Harbin, China.  Pon weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Zhong weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ming Su, and the three ringside judges are Jin Sam, Yu Jian and Lei Loh.  

Round 1: 

Zhong finds the target with a jab.  
Pon closes the distance.  Zhong throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pon advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Pon retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Zhong accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Pon.
