Sancho Clara vs Marco Riva

Boxing Daily Report from the The New Pearls Boxing promoted show at Havana Machuca, Havana,  taking place on 22/07/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sancho Clara (10 - 13(1)) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Marco Riva(24 - 11(1) - 4) from Havana, Cuba.  Clara weighed in at 135 pounds and 10 ounces, while Riva weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces.    As Clara came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Ponce Cortina, and the three ringside judges are Alvino Navarra, Luis Cruz and Alejandro Maria.  

Round 1: 

Riva pivots to the left of his opponent.  Clara lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Clara closes the distance.  Riva pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Clara advances into close range.  Riva quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Riva pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Riva hits home with a cross.  
Clara is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Clara lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Clara quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent andClara wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Riva dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Clara steps inside.  Riva tries to land a left hook, but Clara slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Clara steps inside.  Clara sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Clara dabs at his face checking for damage.
