Hitoshi Sakamoto vs Satoshi Yamakawa

Boxing Daily Report from the Japanese Boxing Federation promoted show at Osaka Takamoto, Osaka,  taking place on 26/07/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hitoshi Sakamoto (5(2) - 0) who hails from Higashiosaka, Japan and Satoshi Yamakawa(10 - 11 - 2) from Takatsuki, Japan.  Both Sakamoto and Yamakawa weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Kuramoto, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Watanabe, Shinji Iseri and Iwao Okuma.  

Round 1: 

Sakamoto is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Sakamoto sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Yamakawa throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sakamoto gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Sakamoto pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sakamoto connects with a left hook.  
Yamakawa is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Sakamoto finds the target with a jab.  
Sakamoto is looking to close the distance.  Sakamoto pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sakamoto lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Sakamoto ties up his opponent.  Sakamoto leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Sakamoto's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sakamoto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook, jab and a left hook to his opponents head.

Sakamoto backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Yamakawa is whaling away with hooks, but Sakamoto keeps his defence tight.  
Yamakawa attempts to land a left hook, but Sakamoto slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Sakamoto is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Sakamoto lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Yamakawa sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sakamoto is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Yamakawa switches the action to the outside.  Sakamoto lands a stinging jab.  
Sakamoto steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Sakamoto lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Sakamoto lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Sakamoto connects with a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sakamoto dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sakamoto drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  Sakamoto ties up his opponent.  Sakamoto tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Yamakawa behind the head. 
Sakamoto digs in a solid left uppercut to Yamakawa's body.

Sakamoto advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Sakamoto stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Sakamoto lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES YAMAKAWA!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
It looks like Yamakawa has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Sakamoto digs in a weighty right hook to his opponents ribcage.  YAMAKAWA IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  The ref asks Yamakawa to get his gloves up, but he doesnt respond.  The ref has waved the fight off...he doesnt think Yamakawa can continue!  The winner by TKO is Sakamoto!
