Giorgio Locchi vs Edmondo Smuraglia

Boxing Daily Report from the Ayew Promotions promoted show at Milan Basini, Milan,  taking place on 28/07/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Lombardy Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Giorgio Locchi (17(1) - 2 - 1) who hails from Milan, Italy and Edmondo Smuraglia(6 - 10 - 2) from Milan, Italy.  Locchi weighed in at 140 pounds, while Smuraglia weighed in at 139 pounds And 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alfredo Valditara, and the three ringside judges are Luigino Veronisi, Tino De Bacco and Giuseppe Ezzo.  

Round 1: 

Locchi steps inside and connects with a right hook.  Locchi clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Locchi pushes his forearm into Smuraglia's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Locchi to stop fouling.
