Joey Saam vs Saturnin Bega

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 05/11/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joey Big Bam Saam (62(57) - 2(1)) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Saturnin Bega(30(11) - 6(4)) from Panama City, Panama.  Both Saam and Bega weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Louden, and the three ringside judges are Cris Garcia, Vicente Salido and Louis Hemming.  

Round 1: 

Bega is on target with a right hook to Saam's body.  
Bega drives a right hook into Saam's ribcage.  
Saam tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Saam attempts to land a left uppercut, but Bega sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Bega throws a left hook, but Saam ties up his opponent.  Saam leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Saam is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bega drives a right uppercut into Saam's ribcage.  Bega throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Saam lands a firm right uppercut.  
Saam is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bega closes the distance and drives a left hook into Saam's body.  
Bega is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Saam ties up his opponent.  Saam tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bega behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Saam steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Bega closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Bega throws a left hook, but Saam ties up his opponent.  Saam pushes his forearm into Bega's face.  The referee warns Saam and breaks the clinch.

Bega lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Bega advances into close range.  Saam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bega hits home with a left hook.  
As Saam tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bega dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Saam is on target with a left uppercut.  
Bega advances into close range.  Saam lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Bega quickly recovers. 
Saam hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Bega drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Saam lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Bega hits home with a cross.  
Bega advances into close range.  Bega lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Bega attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Saam's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Saam is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.  
Bega walks Saam down, trapping him on the ropes.  Bega throws a right uppercut, but Saam holds on to his opponent.  Saam leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bega is on target with a right uppercut.  
Bega sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Saam lands a sharp left hook.  
Saam throws a right uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Saam clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bega pushes his forearm into Saam's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bega to stop fouling.  
Saam lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Saam is looking to keep his distance.  Bega quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Saam lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Bega advances into close range.  Saam throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Saam ties up his opponent.  Saam leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Saam lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Bega wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Saam dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Saam is on target with a left hook to Bega's liver.  Saam attempts to land a right hook, but Bega sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Bega lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Saam closes the distance.  Bega drives a right hook into Saam's body.  Bega throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Bega attempts to land a left hook, but Saam blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Saam is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Bega almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Saam lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Saam knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Saam lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS BEGA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Bega now seems to have his senses back.

Saam is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a telling cross.  BEGA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Bega closes the distance and walks Saam down, trapping him on the ropes.  Saam is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Saam lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS BEGA!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Saam!
