Tunde Ihekwoaba vs Shehu Okpala

Boxing Daily Report from the Olokaonyango Promotions promoted show at Kano Mirza, Kano,  taking place on 01/10/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tunde Ihekwoaba (15 - 2 - 2) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Shehu Okpala(14 - 9 - 3) from Kano, Nigeria.  Ihekwoaba weighed in at 154 pounds, while Okpala weighed in at 154 pounds and 9 ounces.    As Okpala came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Akiwumi, and the three ringside judges are Gbolahan Adenaike, Corey Wabara and Azubuike Umeasiegbu.
