Davie Kinnock vs Malcolm Cava

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-California promoted show at Bakersfield Irvine, Bakersfield,  taking place on 03/10/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Davie Kinnock (16 - 9) who hails from San Bernardino, USA and Malcolm Cava(40(20) - 5(1) - 2) from San Jose, USA.  Both Kinnock and Cava weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dylan Waddell, and the three ringside judges are John Benitez, Sam Lowe and Paul Herring.  

Round 1: 

Cava feints a left, and then lands with a hard jab.  
Cava closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Cava ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Cava's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cava walks Kinnock into a corner.  Cava pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Kinnock steps away from his opponent.  Cava lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Cava gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Cava clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cava closes the distance.  Kinnock tries to land a right hook, but Cava blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kinnock throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a powerful right hook.  KINNOCK WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Kinnock quickly recovers. 
Kinnock throws a right uppercut, but Cava clinches his opponent.  Cava is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Cava pushes his forearm into Kinnock's face.  The ref breaks Cava's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kinnock throws a left hook, but Cava ties up his opponent.  Kinnock throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. As they grapple, Cava pushes his forearm into Kinnock's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cava to stop fouling.  
Cava lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Cava walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Cava feints a right hook, and then is on target with a left hook.  
Cava steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Cava tries to keep the action at long range.  Kinnock sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cava is on target with a firm cross.  
Cava is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kinnock dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Cava is looking to close the distance.  Cava pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Cava DETONATES a FIERCE left hook on his opponents face.  KINNOCK IS HURT!  
Cava walks Kinnock down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cava knows Kinnock is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Cava lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS KINNOCK TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  It looks like Kinnock has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Cava lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Cava lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Cava clinches his opponent.  Cava is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  Kinnock quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kinnock's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kinnock's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Kinnock's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Cava waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Kinnock attempts to land a jab, but Cava parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut to Kinnock's body.  
Cava closes the distance.  Cava quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Kinnock connects with a cross.  
Kinnock tries to keep the action at long range.  Cava sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kinnock hits home with a cross.  
Cava closes the distance and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  Cava ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Cava's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cava hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Cava gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Kinnock steps to the outside.  Cava connects with a solid cross.  
Cava steps inside.  Kinnock throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a spiteful left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE KINNOCK WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kinnock quickly recovers. 
Cava walks Kinnock down, trapping him in the red corner.  Cava lands a right hook.  
Kinnock steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Cava is looking to close the distance.  Cava pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Kinnock tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Cava steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Kinnock in a neutral corner.  Cava quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Cava lands a left hook.  
Cava sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Kinnock's ribcage.

Cava closes the distance and drives a solid right hook into Kinnock's ribs.
