Diego Cruz vs Rodrigo Brasil

Boxing Daily Report from the Tuffuor Promotions promoted show at Cali Lujano, Cali,  taking place on 14/10/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Cruz (14 - 3) who hails from Medellin, Colombia and Rodrigo Brasil(19(1) - 22(2) - 8) from Cali, Colombia.  Both Cruz and Brasil weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Antonio Gonzalez, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Grimaldo, Angel Manjarrez and Fraco Barcelona.  

Round 1: 

Cruz attempts to land a left hook, but Brasil dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Cruz closes the distance.  Cruz is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Cruz wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Brasil dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Cruz lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Brasil finds the target with a jab.

Cruz closes the distance.  Brasil throws a left hook, but Cruz ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Cruz pushes his forearm into Brasil's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cruz.  
Cruz sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Brasil throws a left hook, but Cruz ties up his opponent.  Cruz leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Cruz's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Cruz walks Brasil down, trapping him in a corner.  Cruz lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Cruz tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
