Paul Uys vs Thulani Shabangu

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Mamelodi Mahlangu, Mamelodi,  taking place on 18/10/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul Uys (17 - 16(4)) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Thulani Shabangu(32(2) - 11(4) - 1) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Both Uys and Shabangu weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyrone Letsholonyane, and the three ringside judges are David Demuto, Vince Van Deventer and John Cele.
