Boxing Daily Report from the Canadian Boxing Federation promoted show at Maison de la culture, Gaineau,  taking place on 18/10/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Mordecai (17(2) - 2(1)) who hails from Montreal, Canada and John Haney(33(4) - 10 - 1) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Mordecai and Haney weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Granger Hinault, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Smith, Louis Gillespie and Stephen Morton.
