Carlos Gallo vs Marjun Lerma

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Francisco Morazan promoted show at Tegucigalpa De la Paz, Tegucigalpa,  taking place on 28/10/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Honduras-Francisco Morazan Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Gallo (21(9) - 16(1) - 3) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Marjun Lerma(8 - 5(3) - 3) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  Gallo weighed in at 114 pounds and 15 ounces, while Lerma weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Selestino Arjona, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Huerta, Montana Esquivel and Vicente Perez.  

Round 1: 

Lerma throws a left hook, but Gallo ties up his opponent.  Gallo pushes his forearm into Lerma's face.  The referee warns Gallo and breaks the clinch.

Lerma throws a right hook, but Gallo ties up his opponent.  Gallo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gallo lands a stinging overhand left.  
Gallo lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES LERMA!  He manages to get up at 4.  Lerma quickly recovers. 
Lerma quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gallo lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gallo forces Lerma to retreat into a neutral corner.  Gallo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Lerma throws a left uppercut, but Gallo clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gallo lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lerma's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Lerma's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lerma dabs at his face checking for damage.  Lerma has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Lerma switches the action to the outside.  Gallo lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Gallo closes the distance.  Lerma pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gallo lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Gallo steps inside.  Gallo drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gallo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gallo slams a mean left hook into his opponents body.  LERMA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Gallo walks his opponent into the corner.  Gallo crashes a DEVASTATING left uppercut to his opponents liver.  LERMA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE LERMA CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Gallo!
