Hideki Shirai vs Fumio Matsubara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at Kurumeza Theatre, Kurume,  taking place on 01/11/2039:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Fukuoka Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hideki Shirai (18 - 2 - 1) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Fumio Matsubara(17 - 24 - 10) from Kitakyushu, Japan.  Both Shirai and Matsubara weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiroki Sawa, and the three ringside judges are Yoshi Ogura, Yasushi Baba and Kaede Aki.  

Round 1: 

Matsubara is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Shirai quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.
