Ramiro Barreda vs Pedro Talamantes

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Carolina promoted show at Carolina Frontera, Carolina,  taking place on 03/11/2039:

Clearly AI Puerto Rico-Carolina have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-Carolina Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ramiro Barreda (17 - 12(3) - 4) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Pedro Talamantes(6 - 15(2) - 1) from Carolina, Puerto Rico.  Both Barreda and Talamantes weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Cano, and the three ringside judges are Edmundo Zayas, Alejandro Cerezo and Joaquin Velazquez.  

Round 1: 

Barreda steps inside.  Talamantes attempts to land a right hook, but Barreda sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Talamantes closes the distance.  Talamantes pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Barreda's body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Barreda has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Barreda is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with an overhand right.
