Declan Leland vs Gus Howey

Boxing Daily Report from the Serero Promotions promoted show at Kristofor Nikšić Gym, Raleigh,  taking place on 05/11/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Declan Leland (6 - 16 - 9) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Gus Howey(28 - 10 - 1) from Charlotte, USA.  Both Leland and Howey weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kian Bourne, and the three ringside judges are Dale Jones, John Gerrie and Josh Baranek.  

Round 1: 

Howey gets on the inside.  Howey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Howey lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Howey ties up his opponent.  Howey leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Leland throws a left hook, but Howey holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Howey pushes his forearm into Leland's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Howey about fouling.
