Dave Davies vs Mark Angus

Boxing Daily Report from the Serero Promotions promoted show at Charlotte McCrae, Charlotte,  taking place on 05/11/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Davies (16 - 26(4) - 2) who hails from Durham, USA and Mark Angus(19 - 20(2) - 4) from Durham, USA.  Davies weighed in at 146 pounds And 11 ounces, while Angus weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John MacNaughton, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Armstrong, Tom McCleod and James Spence.  

Round 1: 

Davies is on target with a cross.  
Davies steps away from his opponent.  Angus throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Angus walks Davies down, trapping him on the ropes.  Angus is on target with a cross.
