Hajime Kodama vs Goro Yamashita

Boxing Daily Report from the Fighting spirit promoted show at Tokyo Araya, Tokyo,  taking place on 30/10/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Tokyo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hajime Kodama (29 - 9(2) - 3) who hails from Chofu, Japan and Goro Yamashita(17 - 10 - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Kodama and Yamashita weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisao Hatanaka, and the three ringside judges are Dai Ishikawa, Hisoka Yamamoto and Eiji Shibata.  

Round 1: 

Kodama lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Yamashita walks Kodama down, trapping him in a corner.  Yamashita connects with a cross.  
Yamashita gets on the inside.  Kodama connects with a right hook.

Yamashita is looking to close the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Yamashita has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Yamashita closes the distance.  Kodama pivots to the side of his opponent.  Yamashita throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Yamashita's ribcage.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Yamashita's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.
