John Shortt vs Paul Scrivener

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Miami Airport Convention Center, Miami,  taking place on 06/11/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Florida Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Shortt (15 - 18(3) - 6) who hails from Miami, USA and Paul Scrivener(17(2) - 0) from Tallahassee, USA.  Both Shortt and Scrivener weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fanuco Onate, and the three ringside judges are Edmundo Celio, Max Merrick and Fanuco Onate.  

Round 1: 

Scrivener gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Scrivener clinches his opponent.  Scrivener is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Scrivener and breaks the clinch.  
Scrivener lands a right uppercut.  
Scrivener lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Scrivener drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Scrivener holds on to his opponent.  Scrivener is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Scrivener manages to work his way out of the clinch.  
Scrivener lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Scrivener pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Scrivener is on target with a right hook.  
Shortt throws a right hook, but Scrivener holds on to his opponent.  Scrivener uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Shortt's kidney. Shortt pushes his forearm into Scrivener's face.  The ref breaks Scrivener's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Scrivener drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Scrivener connects with a cross.  
Scrivener advances into close range and lands a left uppercut.  
Shortt throws a right hook, but Scrivener ties up his opponent.  Scrivener leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Shortt switches the action to the outside and lands a sharp jab.  
Shortt steps to the outside.  Scrivener stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Shortt is on target with an overhand right.  
Scrivener closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Scrivener connects with a solid left hook.  
Scrivener feints a jab, tricking Shortt into countering with a left hook.  Scrivener avoids the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Shortt is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a stinging jab.  
Scrivener is looking to close the distance and lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Scrivener feints a jab, tricking Shortt into launching a cross counter.  Scrivener springs the trap, countering with  a solid left hook.  
Scrivener closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Scrivener ties up his opponent.  Shortt pushes his forearm into Scrivener's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Shortt about fouling.

Scrivener SLAMS a VICIOUS cross into his opponents face.  It looks like Shortt has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Scrivener advances into close range.  Scrivener quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Scrivener DETONATES a mean left hook on his opponents face.  SHORTT IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Scrivener!
