Brett Rattray vs Chris Kippen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Saint Andrew promoted show at New Kingston Dennie, New Kingston,  taking place on 13/11/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jamaica Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SportsMax, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Brett Rattray (12(11) - 0) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Chris Kippen(22(2) - 6(1) - 1) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Rattray and Kippen weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Blackard, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Eckford, David Duris and Alen Candlish.  

Round 1: 

Rattray steps inside.  Kippen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kippen connects with a left hook.  Rattray holds on to his opponent.  Rattray is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rattray drives a sharp left uppercut into Kippen's liver.  
Rattray is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kippen throws a right hook, but Rattray ties up his opponent.  Rattray pushes his forearm into Kippen's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rattray about fouling.  
Kippen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Kippen throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Rattray is looking to close the distance and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Rattray lands a stinging cross to his opponents body.

Rattray whips in a big left hook to Kippen's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE KIPPEN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kippen almost instantly recovers. 
Kippen pivots from in front of his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.  
Rattray steps inside.  Kippen drives a left hook into Rattray's ribs.  
Rattray is on target with a cross.  
Rattray advances into close range and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rattray's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Kippen's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Rattray walks Kippen down, trapping him on the ropes.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Kippen has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused a slight cut  the right eye.  .  
Kippen tries to land a left uppercut, but Rattray sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Rattray advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, KNOCKING KIPPEN DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Rattray lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Rattray closes the distance.  Rattray knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Rattray lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES KIPPEN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.

He then lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, KNOCKING KIPPEN DOWN!  The ref does not give Kippen the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Rattray!
