Spencer Haye vs Rob Yelton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Guyana-North promoted show at Georgetown Wands, Georgetown,  taking place on 25/11/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Guyana-North Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Spencer Haye (4 - 8(1)) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Rob Yelton(17(4) - 15 - 4) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Both Haye and Yelton weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zach Byers, and the three ringside judges are Michael Fallis, Robert Blackstock and Lee Montgomery.  

Round 1: 

Yelton drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Haye attempts to land a jab, but Yelton slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Yelton is on target with a left uppercut.  
Yelton advances into close range and forces Haye to retreat onto the ropes.  Yelton digs in a right uppercut to Haye's body.  
Yelton closes the distance.  Yelton pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Yelton closes the distance.  Yelton sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Yelton lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Yelton advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Haye sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Yelton lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Yelton lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Haye steps to the outside and lands a jab.  
Yelton lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS HAYE TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
It looks like Haye has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Yelton advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Yelton pivots from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Yelton is on target with a left hook to Haye's ribs.  
Yelton walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Yelton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Haye recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Yelton lands a stinging left hook.  
Yelton lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Yelton is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Haye tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.  
Yelton steps inside.  Yelton drives a right hook into Haye's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Yelton has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Yelton lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Yelton forces Haye to back into the blue corner.  Yelton senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Yelton lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS HAYE DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Yelton is on target with a weighty left hook to Haye's body.  DOWN GOES HAYE!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Yelton is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Yelton lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by two right uppercut's to the body, KNOCKING HAYE DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Yelton!
