Dakarai Gichere vs Joel Cheromei

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Diab, Nairobi,  taking place on 28/11/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dakarai Gichere (28(1) - 17(11)) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Joel Cheromei(17 - 13 - 3) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Gichere and Cheromei weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matt Kanyoro, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Shaheen, Brendan Gatheru and Rob Birdi.  

Round 1:
