Felippe Maya vs Diego Villavicencio

Boxing Daily Report from the Miguel promoted show at Santiago Cerezo Gym, Guadalajara,  taking place on 30/11/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Jalisco Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Felippe Maya (27(21) - 18(8)) who hails from Tlaquepaque, Mexico and Diego Villavicencio(5 - 3(1) - 1) from Tlaquepaque, Mexico.  Maya weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces, while Villavicencio weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Oro Pando, and the three ringside judges are Cuba Tiscareno, Ovidio Ariza and Larenzo Arellanes.  

Round 1: 

Villavicencio advances into close range.  Maya hits home with a right hook.

Maya feints a right, and then is on target with a cross.

Villavicencio closes the distance.  Maya lands a stinging left hook.  Maya ties up his opponent.  Maya is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Maya lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Maya holds on to his opponent.  Maya pushes his forearm into Villavicencio's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maya switches the action to the outside and lands with a sharp jab.  
Villavicencio manouvers Maya onto the ropes.  Villavicencio quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Maya lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Villavicencio closes the distance.  Maya throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Maya clinches his opponent.  Maya is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Maya about fouling.  
Maya connects with a FIERCE left hook.  VILLAVICENCIO IS HURT!  Villavicencio almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Villavicencio gets on the inside.  Maya is on target with a left uppercut to Villavicencio's body.  
Maya lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Villavicencio waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Maya hits home with a cross.  
Maya connects with a right hook.  
Maya tries to keep the action at long range.  Maya sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.

Villavicencio attempts to land a right hook, but Maya blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Maya digs in a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Maya switches the action to the outside and hits home with a solid overhand right.  
Maya is on target with a mean cross.  VILLAVICENCIO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Maya attempts to land a jab, but Villavicencio sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Maya thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Villavicencio away.  Maya lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head, AND SENDS VILLAVICENCIO TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Villavicencio now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Villavicencio steps inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Maya blocks the shot and counters with a WICKED right uppercut.  VILLAVICENCIO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Villavicencio almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Maya is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a firm cross.  
Maya tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a firm overhand left.  
Villavicencio closes the distance and walks Maya down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Maya EXPLODES a mean left hook into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES VILLAVICENCIO!  He manages to get up at 4.  Maya holds on to his opponent.  Villavicencio leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Maya pivots to the left of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.
