Owen Wasson vs Rob Smith

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at CU Events Center, Boulder,  taking place on 24/12/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Wasson (10(4) - 0) who hails from Port St. Lucie, USA and Rob Smith(18 - 9(1)) from Reno, USA.  Both Wasson and Smith weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Seff, and the three ringside judges are Gregor Alexander, Mark Polson and David Routledge.  

Round 1: 

Smith tries to step out of his opponents range.  Wasson sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Smith tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Wasson pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents ribs.

Wasson gets on the inside.  Wasson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Wasson dabs at his face checking for damage.

Smith steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Wasson accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Smith.  
Smith connects with a cross.  Smith tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Wasson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
Smith throws a left uppercut, but Wasson ties up his opponent.  Wasson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Wasson advances into close range.  Wasson pivots to the left of his opponent.  Wasson attempts to land a left uppercut, but Smith slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Wasson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a solid left hook into Smith's ribs.

Wasson lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
