Mark Roddick vs Oliver McArtor

Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at Westpac, Melbourne,  taking place on 17/12/2039:

Clearly James Saint-Claire have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark The Rocket Roddick (17(13) - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Oliver McArtor(8 - 10(6) - 5) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Roddick and McArtor weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dom David, and the three ringside judges are Paul Elmasyan, Blake Lapshin and Ian Soulis.  

Round 1: 

Roddick lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
McArtor is looking to close the distance.  Roddick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McArtor dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Roddick switches the action to the outside.  McArtor quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Roddick lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Roddick switches the action to the outside and hits home with a sharp overhand left.

McArtor throws a left uppercut, but Roddick clinches his opponent.  Roddick pushes his forearm into McArtor's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Roddick to stop fouling.

McArtor steps inside.  Roddick is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Roddick is looking to keep his distance and drives a jab into his opponents body.  
McArtor forces Roddick to retreat onto the ropes.  Roddick lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Roddick steps away from his opponent.  Roddick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Roddick lands a spiteful jab.  
McArtor is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Roddick in a neutral corner.  Roddick whips in a mean left uppercut to McArtor's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE MCARTOR WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Roddick could be enough to finish McArtor!  Roddick digs in a weighty right hook to McArtor's body.  MCARTOR IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
McArtor advances into close range.  Roddick lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the body, AND SENDS MCARTOR SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  McArtor now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McArtor's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
