James Rury vs Billy Murphy

Boxing Daily Report from the Apple Pie Boxing promoted show at Churchill Downs, Louisville,  taking place on 14/01/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the USA Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Raging Fury James Rury (38(24) - 2(1)) who hails from Anchorage, USA and Billy Murphy(15(3) - 3(2) - 2) from Chicago, USA.  Both Rury and Murphy weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Prosser, and the three ringside judges are Euan Slone, Dave Stark and Michael Balderston.  

Round 1: 

Murphy closes the distance and digs in a right hook to Rury's body.  Murphy throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.
