Peter Reuben vs Seth Athanas

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Malcolm Duffy Gym, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 18/12/2039:

Clearly Gold Coast Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Reuben (8 - 10(2) - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Seth Athanas(3 - 13 - 5) from Gold Coast, Australia.  Reuben weighed in at 130 pounds and 12 ounces, while Athanas weighed in at 130 pounds.    As Reuben came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Giorgio Lombardo, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Alford, Michael Puller and Joel Glines.  

Round 1: 

Reuben lands a right hook.  
Reuben quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Athanas connects with a cross.  
Athanas throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Reuben's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
