Jose Estay vs Jose Picano

Boxing Daily Report from the Chigaga Promotions promoted show at Santa Cruz de la Sie Cala, Santa Cruz de la Sierra,  taking place on 17/12/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia-Santa Cruz Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Estay (42(9) - 12(4)) who hails from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and Jose Picano(5 - 6(2) - 1) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Estay weighed in at 105 pounds, while Picano weighed in at 106 pounds and 2 ounces.    As Picano came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Obregon, and the three ringside judges are Montego Damian, Joaquin Obregon and Ora Salido.  

Round 1: 

Estay closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Estay is on target with a left hook.  
Picano tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE PICANO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Estay walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  The right shot from Estay could be enough to force the stoppage!  Estay drives a weighty right hook into his opponents body.  PICANO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.

Picano throws a left hook, but Estay ties up his opponent.  Estay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Estay's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Estay lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Estay lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Estay throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Estay holds on to his opponent.  Estay is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Picano switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Estay steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Estay lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Estay walks his opponent into the corner.  Estay lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Estay lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Estay digs in a left hook to Picano's ribs.  
Estay hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Estay lands a left hook.  
Estay advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Estay is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Estay is on target with a weighty right uppercut to Picano's ribcage.  PICANO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like Picano has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Estay closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to Picano's body.  Estay ties up his opponent.  Estay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Estay's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Estay steps inside and drives a left hook into Picano's ribs.  
Estay lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS PICANO DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Estay senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Estay lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS PICANO DOWN!  The ref does not give Picano the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Estay!
