Emilio Escovedo vs Xavier Barbas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Pernambuco promoted show at Juan Placido Gym, Recife,  taking place on 17/12/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Pernambuco Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Emilio Escovedo (14 - 21 - 1) who hails from Recife, Brazil and Xavier Barbas(2 - 0) from Recife, Brazil.  Escovedo weighed in at 114 pounds And 5 ounces, while Barbas weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ovidio Solomon, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Santiago, Vicente Lalama and Xalvador Regalado.
