Olympe Nkong vs James Fokobo

Boxing Daily Report from the Main Event promoted show at Denis de Portzamparc Gym, Yaoundé,  taking place on 19/12/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Centre Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Olympe Nkong (4 - 18(1) - 3) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and James Fokobo(33 - 15(4) - 2) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Nkong weighed in at 175 pounds, while Fokobo weighed in at 174 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Telford Dakeyo, and the three ringside judges are Ross Beaudin, Waltier Dewaere and Adalard Njanke.  

Round 1: 

Fokobo gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut.

Nkong contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Fokobo lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.

Nkong steps to the outside.  Fokobo lands a cross.

Fokobo lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Fokobo is looking to close the distance.  Fokobo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Fokobo closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Nkong in the red corner.  Fokobo is on target with a left uppercut.

Fokobo manouvers Nkong into a corner.  Fokobo lands a left uppercut.  
Fokobo lands a right hook.  
Fokobo hits home with a left hook.  
Fokobo throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Fokobo gets on the inside and forces Nkong to back into the ropes.  Fokobo connects with a left uppercut.  
Fokobo digs in a left hook to Nkong's body.  Nkong wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Fokobo.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
