Diego Lumiqued vs Richard Caluag

Boxing Daily Report from the Run Forficula promoted show at UST Sports Centre, Manila,  taking place on 25/12/2039:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Lumiqued (3 - 0) who hails from Imus, Philippines and Richard Caluag(7 - 4(1) - 6) from Caloocan, Philippines.  Lumiqued weighed in at 122 pounds, while Caluag weighed in at 121 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rico Agngarayngay, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Raguindin, Ivan Delasin and Jose Alicbusan.  

Round 1: 

Lumiqued lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lumiqued dabs at his face checking for damage.
