Edmundo Guitierrez vs Marjun Granados

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 28/01/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Edmundo El Guapo Guitierrez (15(12) - 0) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Marjun Granados(24(7) - 9(3)) from Santa Clara, Cuba.  Both Guitierrez and Granados weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Christopher, and the three ringside judges are Sam Hasson, Richie Burnes and Bart Craw.  

Round 1: 

Guitierrez pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Guitierrez drives a sharp jab into his opponents body.  
Granados gets on the inside.  Guitierrez digs in a right uppercut to Granados's body.  
Guitierrez tries to step out of his opponents range.  Guitierrez feints a cross, and then lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Granados closes the distance.  Guitierrez pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Guitierrez switches the action to the outside and is on target with a stinging cross to his opponents body.  
Guitierrez connects with a BRUTAL overhand right.  GRANADOS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Granados recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Granados gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Granados pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Guitierrez's ribs.  
Granados throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Granados walks Guitierrez down, trapping him on the ropes.  Guitierrez finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Guitierrez steps away from his opponent and lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Guitierrez lands a straight 1 - 2.  Guitierrez tries to land a cross, but Granados sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Guitierrez lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Granados gets on the inside.  Guitierrez sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Granados's ribs.  
Guitierrez tries to keep the action at long range.  Guitierrez feints a left hook, and then is on target with a solid overhand left.  
Granados attempts to land a jab, but Guitierrez slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Granados walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Guitierrez connects with a stinging cross.  
Guitierrez lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Guitierrez steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Guitierrez lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Guitierrez feints a left hook, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Guitierrez lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.

Granados is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Guitierrez is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Guitierrez switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.

Guitierrez lands a jab to the body followed by two straights to the head.  
Granados is looking to close the distance.  Guitierrez attempts to land a left hook, but Granados sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Guitierrez pivots to the right of his opponent.  Guitierrez attempts to land a jab, but Granados sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Granados walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Guitierrez throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Guitierrez lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Granados cuts off the ring, trapping Guitierrez on the ropes.  Guitierrez stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Guitierrez lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left uppercut's to the head, AND DROPS GRANADOS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Guitierrez lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Guitierrez!
