Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at MSG Theater, New York City,  taking place on 07/01/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gus Greig (13(4) - 0) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Joe Steel(22 - 17(3) - 5) from Colorado Springs, USA.  Both Greig and Steel weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matthew Renwick, and the three ringside judges are Gianni Cossutta, James McQueen and Phil Graden.  

Round 1: 

Greig advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Greig lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Greig holds on to his opponent.  Greig pushes his forearm into Steel's face.  The referee warns Greig and breaks the clinch.  
Greig throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Greig holds on to his opponent.  Greig leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Greig's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Greig gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Greig holds on to his opponent.  Greig throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Greig to stop fouling.  
Greig digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Greig lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Greig advances into close range and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Greig attempts to land a right hook, but Steel parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Greig connects with a left hook.  Greig clinches his opponent.  Greig tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Steel behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Greig.  
Greig leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Steel accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Greig.  
Greig gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Steel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Steel throws a right hook, but Greig ties up his opponent.  Greig leans on his opponent using all his weight. Greig tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Steel behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Greig about fouling.  
Greig lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Steel throws a right uppercut, but Greig holds on to his opponent.  Greig tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Steel behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and sends Steel to the neutral corner.  He takes Greig's arm and signals to each judge that a point should be deducted!  
Greig lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Greig lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Greig lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Steel pivots to the right of his opponent.  Greig connects with a stinging right hook.  
Greig connects with a firm left hook.  Greig ties up his opponent.  Greig leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Steel pivots to the left of his opponent.  Steel attempts to land a left hook, but Greig sidesteps and counters with a cross.

The ref stops the action and sends Steel to the neutral corner.  He takes Greig's arm and signals to each judge that a point should be deducted!  
Greig lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Steel pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Greig steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Greig ties up his opponent.  Greig is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Greig to stop holding.  
Greig lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Steel tries to step out of his opponents range.  Greig lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.
