Newell Mevoungou vs Mortimer Mutasi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ossyan Promotions promoted show at Cable Jacob Gym, Douala,  taking place on 20/12/2039:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Littoral Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Newell Mevoungou (9 - 10 - 2) who hails from Douala, Cameroon and Mortimer Mutasi(2 - 0) from Douala, Cameroon.  Mevoungou weighed in at 153 pounds and 8 ounces, while Mutasi weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ross Dipanda, and the three ringside judges are Varden Michel, Ames Feudjio and Ross Dipanda.  

Round 1: 

Mutasi advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
