John McNiff vs Fionn Connell

Boxing Daily Report from the Xing-fu Hui's Sensei Promotions promoted show at Coronet Theatre, London,  taking place on 31/12/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are John McNiff (4 - 0 - 1) who hails from London, UK and Fionn Connell(20(2) - 13) from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.  Both McNiff and Connell weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Darryl Jones, and the three ringside judges are Paul Lennon, Mervyn Cadwallader and Michael George.  

Round 1: 

McNiff digs in a left uppercut to Connell's ribs.
