Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo promoted show at Santo Domingo Norte Moscoso, Santo Domingo Norte,  taking place on 25/12/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gig Raso (11 - 3 - 2) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and Diego Placido(16 - 4 - 1) from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic.  Raso weighed in at 159 pounds and 8 ounces, while Placido weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Varona, and the three ringside judges are Urvano Corea, Urvano Corea and Santiago Varona.
