Farhan Mattar vs James Cong

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Johor promoted show at Johor Bahru Shakoor, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 28/12/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Johor Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Farhan Mattar (25(5) - 8(5)) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and James Cong(8 - 21(4) - 3) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Mattar and Cong weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Vaziri, and the three ringside judges are Haaris Gaber, Obaid Diab and Gazi Shariff.  

Round 1: 

Mattar leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Cong is whaling away with hooks, but Mattar keeps his defence tight.
