Vincent Bada vs Dom Akpan

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbeki Promotions promoted show at Shehu Adekunde Gym, Aba,  taking place on 31/12/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Abia State Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vincent Bada (10 - 11 - 2) who hails from Aba, Nigeria and Dom Akpan(17 - 7 - 2) from Aba, Nigeria.  Bada weighed in at 168 pounds, while Akpan weighed in at 167 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yakubu Egbedi, and the three ringside judges are Yakubu Egbedi, Lukman Shuaib and Jay Onuegbu.  

Round 1: 

Akpan tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Bada sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
