Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Batangas promoted show at Batangas City Paglingayen, Batangas City,  taking place on 03/01/2040:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-Batangas Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Maldonado (29(1) - 6) who hails from Lipa, Philippines and Jacob Pagaspas(10 - 0) from Lipa, Philippines.  Maldonado weighed in at 125 pounds and 7 ounces, while Pagaspas weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cortez Alimboyugen, and the three ringside judges are Rafael Gacungan, Manny Orayani and Billy Tablac.
