Billy Dermott vs Joel Kissack

Boxing Daily Report from the Kronk Gym II promoted show at Detroit Eronen, Detroit,  taking place on 06/01/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Billy Dermott (12 - 15 - 7) who hails from Detroit, USA and Joel Kissack(2 - 4) from Detroit, USA.  Both Dermott and Kissack weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Watters, and the three ringside judges are Louis Orchard, Jasper Mudie and Matthew Mulrennan.  

Round 1: 

Dermott connects with a right hook.

Kissack pivots to the side of his opponent.  Dermott hits home with a left hook.

Dermott closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Dermott forces Kissack to retreat into a corner.  Dermott quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kissack hits home with a right hook.  
Dermott hits home with a cross.  
Kissack voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Dermott accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Kissack.  
Dermott throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.
