Rex Tweedy vs Chris Melrose

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Minnesota promoted show at Colin Daley Gym, Minneapolis,  taking place on 04/01/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Minnesota Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Tweedy (8 - 10 - 3) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Chris Melrose(35(5) - 8 - 4) from Minneapolis, USA.  Both Tweedy and Melrose weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Westlund, and the three ringside judges are Phil Bertel, Zachary Mattus and Alastair Cullen.  

Round 1: 

Melrose is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Melrose lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.
