Rob Sirigu vs Gus Arnott

Boxing Daily Report from the John Wayne promoted show at James Isbister Gym, Evansville,  taking place on 28/12/2039:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Rob Sirigu (3 - 0) who hails from Providence, USA and Gus Arnott(9 - 8 - 2) from Rancho Cucamonga, USA.  Both Sirigu and Arnott weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joseph Sayer, and the three ringside judges are Paul Lockart, Chris Philley and Chris Philley.  

Round 1: 

Sirigu closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Sirigu ties up his opponent.  Sirigu pushes his forearm into Arnott's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Arnott is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sirigu lands a firm right uppercut.

Sirigu is looking to close the distance and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Sirigu pivots to the left of his opponent.  Arnott throws a left hook, but Sirigu ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Sirigu pushes his forearm into Arnott's face.  The referee warns Sirigu and breaks the clinch.

Arnott steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sirigu drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Sirigu steps inside and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Sirigu digs in a left uppercut to Arnott's body.  
Sirigu feints a jab, and then hits home with a firm cross.  
Sirigu gets on the inside and connects with a stinging right hook.  
Sirigu lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
