Lisandro Arce vs Felix Appleton

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwofie Promotions promoted show at Mexicali Uriarte, Mexicali,  taking place on 27/01/2040:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lisandro Arce (10(8) - 0) who hails from Tlaquepaque, Mexico and Felix Appleton(1 - 1 - 1) from Glendale, USA.  Arce weighed in at 199 pounds and 4 ounces, while Appleton weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reynaldo Castano, and the three ringside judges are Senon Andrada, Sagaz Moya and Carlos Cornejo.  

Round 1: 

Arce hits home with a cross.  
Arce gets on the inside.  Arce sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Appleton throws a right hook, but Arce ties up his opponent.  Arce pushes his forearm into Appleton's face.  The ref breaks Arce's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Arce quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Arce steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Arce connects with a solid cross.  
Arce is on target with a cross.  
Arce closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Arce drives a stinging right hook into Appleton's body.  
Arce lands a left uppercut, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Arce drives a potent right uppercut into Appleton's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE APPLETON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Appleton quickly recovers.

Arce advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Arce drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents ribs.

Arce closes the distance.  Arce lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Arce holds on to his opponent.  Arce hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Arce and breaks the clinch.  Appleton wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Arce dabs at his face checking for damage.

Arce closes the distance and lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Arce steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Arce tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Appleton connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Appleton's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Appleton's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Appleton's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Arce advances into close range.  Arce lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  As Appleton tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Arce has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  Appleton quickly recovers. 
Arce forces Appleton to retreat onto the ropes.  Arce digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Arce ties up his opponent.  Arce pushes his forearm into Appleton's face.  The referee warns Arce and breaks the clinch.  
Arce is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Appleton's liver.  Arce tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Arce steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Arce quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Arce hits home with a left hook.  Arce throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Arce lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  Arce clinches his opponent.  Arce uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Appleton's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Arce quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Arce lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Arce lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Appleton pivots to the left of his opponent.  Arce hits home with a firm cross.  
Arce lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Arce lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Arce throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Arce ties up his opponent.  Arce leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Arce's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Arce lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Arce quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a potent right hook into his opponents ribcage.  DOWN GOES APPLETON!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Appleton has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Arce lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Arce lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND APPLETON IS DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Arce!
