Jax Carro vs Santiago Portales

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-Santa Fe promoted show at Club Nueva Era, Rosario,  taking place on 13/01/2040:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Publica, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jax Carro (26 - 11(5)) who hails from Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, Argentina and Santiago Portales(31(16) - 11(4) - 1(NC)) from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina.  Carro weighed in at 117 pounds and 11 ounces, while Portales weighed in at 118 pounds and 8 ounces.    As Portales came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Kiki Valenzuela, and the three ringside judges are Franco Gusman, Rodrigo Monsanto and Diego Maddry.
